Student Assistant in Sustainability at Nordic Sugar

We are looking for a highly motivated candidate to fill a Student Assistant position in Sustainability. You will get a unique opportunity to combine your studies with hands on business experience by joining the Sustainability team, who works with sustainability on group level (Nordzucker Group).


Among other things, we are responsible for sustainability reporting and strategic work on sustainability within the Nordzucker Group, supplier and stakeholder engagement included. Our goal is to make sustainability an integral part of the Nordzucker culture and how we do business.


The position
The position is based at our office in Copenhagen and will be 10-15 hours per week, but work hours are flexible, especially around examination periods.


Tasks and responsibilities will involve, but is not limited to:
•    Data gathering, handling, compilation and quality assurance for Sustainability Due Diligence and Science Based Targets among others.
•    Responsibility for parts of our reporting, including coordination with selected internal and external stakeholders 
•    Produce or assist with various sustainability training material 
•    Produce or assist with various sustainability communication materials
•    Perform editorial tasks in connection with both the written and the visual content

Your profile:
•    Currently studying for a master’s degree in economics and business administration, international business and politics, communication, political science, environment, social science or similar 
•    Strong analytical skills and ability to consolidate key figures 
•    Strong communication skills
•    Are well organized, good at managing processes and have an eye for details as well as the overall picture  
•    Work independently
•    Speak and write English professionally
•    Have a proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of professional use of social media is an advantage

Furthermore, you are passionate about sustainability, are familiar with the Sustainable Development Goals and if you have German language capabilities it is considered an advantage.
