Operations Controller to Nordic Sugar in Copenhagen

The position
The position is a full-time position within Nordzucker Sales & Operations Controlling and is in Copenhagen. You will report directly to the Head of Controlling North. Travel to our office/production plants in Denmark and Sweden will be a natural part of the job.

 

Area of responsibility:
•    Financial monitoring and reporting of our production sites in Denmark (Sweden, Lithuania).
•    Forecasting and budgeting
•    Monthly reporting
•    Establishing of business cases (e.g.  investment DCF calculations)
•    Calculating of article production cost based on SAP CO Product Costing
•    Handling and preparation of ad hoc analyses
•    Provide strategic support to senior management and contribute actively to decision processes.
•    Participation in cross-functional projects

 

Candidate Profile
The successful candidate has several years of experience from similar roles within an international environment, preferably from production industry. You have a university degree in Economics, Finance Accounting, Audit or similar and are proficient in English, both oral and written. You have great Excel skills and are experienced with SAP, preferably with CO, FI plus partly PS and PP modules.

 

To be able to solve complex tasks you need to be analytical as a person and have high problem solving skills. The ability to focus on details without losing grip of the big picture is therefore essential in order to succeed in your role. You should have the ability to both work independently and as part of a team. 

 

A service minded and solution oriented attitude is something we place great value in. Therefore, you need to have both social and communicative skills since the position will expose you to internal and external contacts. You enjoy networking and relate well to people at all levels. You have a strong result orientation and initiative taking and rapidly learn new tasks.
