AI-Enabled Solution Engineer
Who we are looking for:
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying business applications using the Microsoft technology stack.
- Strong understanding of modern application development technologies and frameworks such as .NET 10, C#, Blazor, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core, TypeScript and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively utilize AI-assisted development tools, coding agents and modern engineering platforms to design, develop and deploy end-to-end business applications.
- Focus on solution design, business value creation and software quality, leveraging both technical expertise and AI-enabled development practices to maximize productivity and accelerate delivery.
- Strong understanding of modern software engineering and cloud-native architectures, including the design, development and operation of scalable applications, databases and integration interfaces across international environments. Responsible for the end-to-end software delivery lifecycle, including source code management, DevOps automation, CI/CD pipelines, testing environments, release management and production support.
- Strong ability to understand business processes and operational challenges and translate them into clear functional and technical requirements.
- Proven capability to collaborate with business stakeholders, operators and subject matter experts, turning business needs into practical, scalable and sustainable digital solutions.
- Good communication and presentation skills, enabling effective interaction with both technical and non-technical audiences in an international environment.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Solutions & Reporting
- Take ownership of the company-wide reporting and analytics landscape for production, laboratory and operational data across multiple manufacturing sites.
- Ensure the maintenance, support and continuous evolution of reporting, dashboarding and data visualization solutions used by operational and management stakeholders.
- Drive the digitalization of business processes by transforming operational requirements into scalable, sustainable and high-value software solutions.
- Advance existing applications and reporting solutions towards a mobile-first user experience across smartphones, tablets and desktop platforms.
Software Architecture & Platform Development
- Design, develop and maintain modern business applications using state-of-the-art software engineering practices and AI-assisted development approaches.
- Establish and continuously evolve a strategic application framework that serves as the foundation for future Operations-related software solutions.
- Define and govern scalable application architectures, integration patterns, databases and cloud-native services to ensure long-term sustainability and interoperability.
- Drive technical innovation by evaluating and adopting emerging technologies that create measurable business value.
Data & Artificial Intelligence
- Establish a future-ready data ecosystem that enables secure, governed and scalable access to operational information across the organization.
- Enable the use of artificial intelligence by ensuring that business-critical data is accessible, structured and consumable for advanced analytics, intelligent assistants and AI-driven decision support.
- Lead the identification, evaluation and implementation of AI-powered solutions to improve operational efficiency, transparency and decision-making across manufacturing environments.
Engineering Excellence & Operations
- Own the complete software delivery lifecycle, including source code management, development standards, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, release management, monitoring and production support.
- Continuously improve engineering productivity through automation, AI-assisted development practices and modern DevOps methodologies.
- Ensure high standards for application reliability, security, scalability and maintainability across all solutions.
- Manage and optimize cloud services and application hosting environments to support current and future business needs.
Innovation & Knowledge Leadership
- Continuously monitor developments in software engineering, cloud platforms and artificial intelligence and identify opportunities to improve development efficiency and solution quality.
- Promote the effective use of AI-assisted development tools and modern engineering practices within the team.
- Establish and maintain an internal forum for knowledge sharing and exchange on software engineering, cloud technologies and artificial intelligence.
- Support colleagues through technical mentoring, knowledge transfer and the sharing of best practices.
